KHEPT Lifetime Membership - Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the issuance and use of the Lifetime Membership Ticket ("Ticket") granted as part of a charitable donation to Knebworth House Education and Preservation Trust. By accepting this Ticket, you (“Member”) agree to the following terms: 1. Eligibility

· The Lifetime Membership Ticket is granted in recognition of a charitable donation made to Knebworth House Education and Preservation Trust.

· Membership is non-transferable and valid only for the individual named on the Ticket, for either one year or the named individual’s lifetime

· Donors may choose to make their contribution eligible for Gift Aid, allowing the charity to reclaim tax on the donation at no extra cost to the donor.

· Eligibility for Gift Aid requires confirmation that the donor is a UK taxpayer and meets HMRC criteria.

· Proof of ID may be required at the time of entry.

2. Access and Benefits

· The Ticket grants free general admission to Knebworth House, Gardens and Park during standard public opening hours for the lifetime of the Member.

· Access is subject to operational days and hours, seasonal closures, and any special event exclusions.

· Additional benefits (if any) will be communicated separately and are subject to change.

3. Restrictions

· The Ticket does not include admission to ticketed events, concerts, third-party attractions, or private hires unless otherwise specified.

· The Ticket may not be sold, bartered, or exchanged for monetary value.

· Membership privileges may be revoked if the Ticket is misused.

4. Lost or Stolen Tickets

· Lost or stolen Tickets must be reported to Knebworth House Education and Preservation Trust for potential replacement.

· A replacement fee may apply, and proof of identity will be required.

 

5. Termination or Modification

· Knebworth House Education and Preservation Trust reserve the right to modify the terms of the Lifetime Membership Ticket or to terminate the program in cases of fraud, misuse, or exceptional circumstances.

· Should access to Knebworth House, Gardens and Park cease permanently for any reason, the Lifetime Ticket shall expire with no refund or compensation due.

 

6. Liability

· Knebworth House Education and Preservation Trust accept no liability for loss, damage, or injury sustained on the premises, except where caused by proven negligence.

· Members enter and use the facilities at their own risk.

 

7. Data Protection

· Personal information provided in relation to this Ticket will be handled in accordance with the Knebworth House Education and Preservation Trust Privacy Policies.

· Your data will be used solely for administrative and communication purposes related to your membership.

8. Gift Aid Declaration

· If Gift Aid is selected, donors agree that they are a UK taxpayer and understand that if they pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed, it is their responsibility to pay the difference.
